In a world that rewards logic and production, we often forget that true wisdom doesn’t live in the head alone. Each of us has three powerful intelligences — the head, the heart, and the gut, each offering unique guidance and gifts.
The Science Behind mBIT
Neuroscience has confirmed what ancient traditions long understood: We don’t just think with our heads — we feel, intuit, and emote with our hearts and guts. Each “brain” is a complex neural network that influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions, with each having its own intelligence:
Head Brain — Cognitive thinking, reasoning, creativity, problem-solving.
Heart Brain — Emotion, compassion, connection, and values.
Gut Brain — Core identity, courage, intuition, and self-protection.

When these centers are misaligned — when the head overrules the heart, or when fear in the gut blocks courage — we experience inner conflict, anxiety, or burnout. But when they we find coherence, wisdom, and a sense of flow. This is the essence of mBraining — aligning your multiple intelligences to live more authentically and effectively.
What is mBIT?
The Multiple Brain Integration Technique (mBIT) is a coaching framework developed by Grant Soosalu and Marvin Oka. This way of being... helps us reconnect these centers so we can live, lead, and love with greater alignment, clarity, and purpose. As a Certified mBIT Coach and Trainer, I have had the privilege of witnessing — and personally experiencing — how this work transforms lives from the inside out. It’s more than a method; it’s a generative model for human evolution, guiding us toward a wiser, kinder world.
Interoception, Exteroception, and Deep Awareness
A unique feature of mBIT work is its integration of interoception (sensing internal bodily states) and exteroception (sensing the external environment). Through breathwork and embodied awareness, you learn to read your internal cues with precision — noticing subtle shifts in heart rhythm, gut tension, or breath patterns that mirror emotional truths.
This awareness allows you to:
Recognize when you’re in head-over-drive or emotionally flooded
Regulate your state before reacting
Make choices from a place of internal coherence rather than stress
Imagine making decisions where your head truly believes, your heart genuinely wants, and your gut deeply needs what you choose. For instance, techniques like balanced breathing and visualization exercises help "communicate" between the brains, leading to wiser decisions and reduced internal conflict. A foundational practice of coherent breathing calms the autonomic nervous system, bringing all three brains into physiological alignment. This isn't just theory; it's backed by practical tools that blend modern science with ancient wisdom traditions.
Why mBIT is Essential in Today's World
In an era marked by division and uncertainty, mBIT represents a pathway to generative leadership and collective consciousness. Grant Soosalu and Marvin Oka envisioned it as a catalyst for shifting from fear-based reactions to wisdom-driven actions, building a global community committed to cooperation and kindness. Now, more than ever, aligning our multiple brains helps us navigate complexity with empathy and courage, reducing stress and enhancing overall well-being. Whether in personal growth, professional development, or relational harmony, mBIT equips us to thrive amid change. Their legacy continues through an international community of mBIT Coaches and Trainers committed to cultivating a wiser, kinder world, one decision, one breath, one aligned heart at a time.
How mBIT Empowers Personal and Professional Growth
This work invites you to embody a new level of self-awareness and fuels profound self-mastery by integrating the full spectrum of our intelligences:
Enhanced Self-Awareness: Align the head's analysis with the heart's emotional insights and the gut's identity cues to uncover true motivations and break self-sabotaging patterns.
Stress Reduction and Resilience: Nervous system balancing techniques promote calm, enabling you to handle life's challenges with ease and adaptability.
Authentic Living: Live in congruence with your values, boosting confidence, purpose, and healthier habits for a more balanced, fulfilling life.
As a coach, you'll apply mBIT to help clients excel in key areas:
Career and Leadership: Align logical goals (head) with passion (heart) and courage (gut) to overcome burnout, enhance decision-making, and foster intuitive problem-solving—ideal for leaders building cohesive teams.
Family and Relationships: Cultivate empathy (heart), practical strategies (head), and instinctive boundaries (gut) for stronger bonds, effective conflict resolution, and intentional parenting. mBIT supports families in nurturing secure attachments and harmonious dynamics, transforming reactive moments into compassionate connections.
Personal Authenticity: Tune into your gut for identity, heart for values, and head for action, reducing people-pleasing and fostering genuine relationships.
What Makes mBIT Truly Unique
Unlike traditional coaching that focuses primarily on cognitive (head brain) strategies, mBIT uniquely integrates the heart's relational wisdom and the gut's instinctive power. This multi-brain approach bridges science and spirituality, yielding faster, deeper results for complex issues like chronic stress or relational patterns. In a crowded landscape, mBIT's emphasis on congruence and generative change sets it apart, making it a powerful tool for anyone seeking holistic transformation.
What You'll Gain from mBIT Certification
This isn't theoretical—it's deeply experiential, with many participants experiencing immediate shifts like heightened intuition or emotional balance. Upon completion, you'll earn certification to integrate mBIT into your practice, plus potential ICF credits for professional coaches.
Practical Skills: A toolkit of techniques to use immediately in coaching or self-application.
Professional Edge: Stand out as a coach who offers neuroscience-backed, holistic methods.
Personal Transformation: Many trainees experience breakthroughs during the course, like greater clarity or emotional balance.
Community and Support: Access to a global network of mBIT practitioners for ongoing learning and collaboration.
A Call to the Generative You
If you’re ready to move beyond the noise of the mind and reconnect with the full intelligence of your being — your head, heart, and gut — mBIT offers a proven pathway.
“When the head thinks clearly, the heart feels deeply, and the gut acts courageously — wisdom flows naturally.” Join us in continuing the vision of Grant Soosalu and Marvin Oka — fostering transformation that ripples through individuals, families, organizations, and communities.
Becoming a certified mBIT coach involves a four-day intensive in-person training program, certified by mBIT International. During the course, participants learn the core mBIT roadmap, including how to identify misalignments in the three brains and use techniques to foster integration. You'll practice coaching sessions, explore neuroscience foundations, and receive the training binder, the book, resources, research, and an online global community.
